Question 1

We have never been to a photoshoot before. What do we need to know?

First of all neither you nor the dog need to do anything special. Most important is your appearance at the location of the photoshoot. Stay relaxed, there is no reason to be nervous. 
We will do the whole experience as relaxed as possible and eben if it takes more than included in your package - no worries. There will be no extra charge for that.

Most important:
 • basic obedience
We want to run the process as smooth as possible. So its really important that your dog follows your instructions. If you or your dog are a bit nervous, no worries. We will take our time.
 • your dog need to come back immediately if needed
If your dog is off the lead during the photoshoot, its important that he is coming back instantly if you call him. Usually we are in a calm environment and I am taking the photographs without lead or collar. If your dog is not able to be off lead, no worries. I offer photoshoot leads.
 • Health and well-being
Your not supposed to show up if your dog is sick. I am not taking photos of sick dogs.

If I realize that your dog is not listening to you and your instructions, if he is sick or something is not working well because of the listed reasons, I will stop the photoshoot immediately. There would not be a new appointment and no refund.
This is for everyones safety.

Question 2

How does a photoshoot work?

You have never been to a photoshoot before and want to know the process? No problem. Here is an explanation for you:

1. After the first contact we talk about what you want and all relevant details for the shoot.
2. As soon as everything is set up, we arrange the appointment and the location for our photoshoot.
3. On the day of the photoshoot we will meet at the location and getting to know each other. Now we are ready.
4. We are looking for nice locations and backgrounds, we will try a few poses and everything will be pretty relaxed. If we see that the dog need a break, he will be allowed to play. To be a model is hard work ;-) So it would be nice if you could bring something to play with, eg a ball.
5. As soon as I have enough pictures on my cam and the time is over, we will end our walk and the photoshoot.
6. Afterwards I upload the raw files in an online gallery, so you can choose your favorites. 
7. After usually one or two weeks you will get the final results. As soon as you have paid the bill, you can download the files. If you want to I can also offer you weboptimized pictures for free - just let me know.
8. If you are happy with everything, I would be pleased if you could leave me a good review on Google.

Notice:
Black and White pictures available on request.
There is now way that I can offer you raw files or unedited pictures.

Question 3

Is my dog suitable for a photoshoot?

Accepted Answer

Usually every dog can be a model.

Most important is a relaxed owner. If your dog is nervous or young it should not be a big problem. But it may affect the results. I will do my very best but I will need your help for that.

Your dog needs to have a basic obedience. And if we are doing the photoshoot off lead, its important that your dog reacts immediately on your call. Health and well-being of your dog is also important.
Thats it.

If your dog is able to do tricks - great! Good tricks are for example waving, lying down with the head on the ground, standing somewhere and so on. 
If your dog can not do any tricks - no worries!

Question 4

What happens if there is rain on the day of the photoshoot?

Accepted Answer

Usually I cancel photoshoots on rainy days. 
If there is just a light rain and you wish to get a dark & moody look on your pictures, it might be possible to do the shoot on the day.

But in general I reschedule the photoshoot on rainy days.
To do that we need to talk prior the settled date on the day and find a new day.

If I need to reschedule or cancel our appointment there are not fees for you.

Question 5

I am not available for our appointment. What do I need to do?

Accepted Answer

No problem. If your not available for our appointment anymore, please let me know until 24 hours prior the photoshoot.

If you cancel less than 24 hours prior and the reason is no emergency, I reserve the right to charge you a cancellation fee of 50 USD.

Question 6

Am I allowed to bring more than one dog?

Accepted Answer

Yeah, sure. But I charge an extra fee of 25,- per additional dog. Important is that this dog is from the same owner. Per photoshoot I allow a maximum of 2 dogs in total when booked package S and 3 dogs in total when booked packages M & L. 
If you want to have a photoshoot together with a friend, just let me know and I will send you an offer.

Question 7

What about image rights?

Accepted Answer

All image rights remain with Pixelgraphy by Annie (Annika Schulze). You only acquire the rights of use. However, you can do almost anything with the images, as long as it is not for commercial use or you make changes to the photographs. I also have the right to sell, market and advertise the images. This also applies to the publication on my website, in social media and other sources. Of course, if a person is shown, this does not apply.

Question 8

Am I permitted to post the pictures online?

Accepted Answer

Yes, sure. :-) That is no problem. You are allowed to post the pictures everywhere. But I would love if you mention my name or a link to my social media accounts/ website.
There is just one thing, you are not permitted to do: selling the pictures.

Question 9

How am I supposed to pay?

Accepted Answer

I offer the following payment methods:

• cash at the location of the photoshoot
 • bank transfer
 • PayPal (friends)
 • Wise

Question 10

Do I need to make a down payment?

Accepted Answer

No.
Usually I do not ask for down payments. But if there is a violation of my T&C I will charge a fee. For example: the cancellation fee is 50 USD if you cancel the appointment less than 24 hours prior the photoshoot.
There are no english T&C available on my website. So please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you want to pay cash, you will pay the package price at the day of the photoshoot. Every additional picture will be paid after you receipt the invoice.

Question 11

When is the payment due?

Accepted Answer

If you pay cash, you will pay the package price at the day of the photoshoot. Any additional pictures you will pay after receipt of the invoice.

If you pay via bank transfer, PayPal or Wise you will pay after receipt of the invoice.

After receipt of the invoice you have 14 days to pay. Usually you will get the invoice after you have chosen your favorites and the editing of the pictures. After I received the payment, the files are ready to download.

Question 12

Are you selling vouchers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, sure.
Just send me the following information via my contact form on this website:
- name
- adress
- phone number
- e-mail adress
- voucher value

After your contact I will send you a individual voucher via e-mail. If you want, I can include the name of the person on the voucher.
